This was a gift for a couple who recently got married on the beach, hence the starfish! I love it, especially since it's something different from what I usually get to do!

The Yellow Tutu
This is the cutest book... Margo is thrilled to get a yellow tutu as a gift on her birthday. She delights herself by putting it on her head and wears it to school. Imagining herself as the sun, she’s eager to show her classmates. But Margo is taken aback when they laugh at her, calling her names and trying to pull it off. But her friend Pearl steps forward and says she likes it -- and invites her to play.
A sweet customer gave this book and a yellow tutu to her granddaughter -- how sweet!

After One's Fancy...
I want to tell you about an adorable friend of mine...
Her name is Tess {isn't she a cutie pie?} and she has an incredible talent for finding beautiful things on a budget! I've known Tess for several years, originally from our super-fun local boutique Mason's, but most recently she is the very talented visual merchandiser at one of the F21 locations here!Has anyone else gotten into the new-mom funk that I did? Like, I didn't buy a thing for myself from the time my daughter was born, then all of a sudden, I hated everything in my closet and just had no clue how or where to start over! I talked to Tess for months about coming to my house to give my closet a facelift, but was so scared to have someone else come into my personal space and see the ghosts of wardrobes past... Once I finally got the courage, I have to tell you, I felt so fabulous! My closet probably had half of what it did before she worked her magic, but even then, I could actually create outfits that I LIKED! Then she made a list of my needs, pulled lots of great things for me to try, and basically guided me through the next few purchases I should make to add to my wardrobe.
And on top of all that, everything was so affordable! Now, I definitely enjoy a splurge on fabulous clothes, but I have to be realistic these days... Most likely, what I buy will end up with juice or peanut butter or whatever else my little munchkin is enjoying all over it, and I can't stand the thought of my pricey designer blouse being ruined like that!
All this being said, Tess has started a new blog, adorably titled after one's fancy... and I absolutely love it! Maybe because half of the items she features are specifically for me -- but she knows and shares my style! Please go check her out here and say hi! On top of being ridiculously talented, she is also probably the sweetest person you have EVER met! You are going to be hooked! I check in first thing every morning just to see what she's come up with!

Tutu Hair Bow Holders!
The UPS Store's fluorescent lighting definitely did them no justice -- the colors are much better in person. These are for a trio of cousins, and all three are variations of pinks and browns!

C & K's Treat Jar
This picture is just plain terrible, but I had to try to share this project with you! A good friend asked me to paint a treat jar for her kids with a sort of bug theme -- and you can't even see the bugs! Aah! Maybe she'll send me a better shot from her kitchen!

Lego Mania!
A friend's son had a Lego-themed birthday party, and she requested a banner to go along with his party -- ta daaa! I really like how this turned out -- the Legos are handpainted on yellow fabric and then appliqued to the banner!
This particular banner falls into the "custom" category as birthday banners go, so pricing is determined by project!

I just had to share this...
A free photo canvas (8x10, or $55 toward a larger size), and I
just ordered one for JE for a Christmas gift!
I applied the $55 credit to a 16x20 of our family.
I can't speak for the quality since I haven't gotten it yet, but
I will update when it comes in (they do have a money-back guarantee).
What a great gift idea!

Stocking Stuffer Idea...
I had my mom make up a whole mess of these great little snack bags because I was so tired of throwing away dozens of plastic sandwich bags every day... so wasteful! Now I seriously use the ones she made for Addison EVERY day! They are lined on the inside with clear plastic, so they hold up well to fruit and just about anything you can think of!
Currently, these are the fabrics we have available, but we are looking at some others. If you have any suggestions as far as what you'd like to see, let me know! These snack bags are $7 each, and there are multiples in each fabric {for example, there are about 20 of the camo, 15 of the monkeys...}, so let me know ASAP if you are interested in ordering some!

Wedding Bibs... Huh?
Oh, what a request this was...
A sweet woman emailed me asking for a bib for her (grown) daughter to wear at her wedding reception. I honestly thought she was kidding at first, but the more we talked, the more I began to understand her idea: protecting the precious gown from the cake smash! And of course, the soon-to-be son-in-law needed a matching bib -- he's a fireman, hence the fire truck!
The daughter's bib says, "My mom had this made for me" -- do you get this family's crazy sense of humor?
I am waiting on the picture from the reception -- this should be priceless!
Due to the custom {time consuming} nature of this project, pricing available on request.
PS I don't love sewing bibs!!!
